I love Fridays

Fridays are my favorite day of the week. Mommy is home with me all day and it also means I have the weekend ahead of me so Daddy will be home with me soon too. But Fridays are reserved for mommy and me. We like to catch up on our Zs and the laundry and sometimes run a few errands. She takes me with her when the weather is nice. I like to ride in the car but sometimes we go places and I get scared so I hide in the floorboard.

Daddy's latest study

Daddy has been conducting a non-scientific experiment on me lately. He puts a dingo, a dental bone, and a chew stick on the floor for me and lets me pick which one I want. We have replicated it a few times to get more accurate results (I'm not complaining) and the results have been the same every time. Mommy is so proud of me for some reason!

Snowpocalypse

Good morning! Currently, Mommy, Daddy and I are hunkered down riding out the big snow storm. I am a little bit confused because they are usually only home with me on Sundays but I thought Sunday was just a couple of days ago. Mommy and I got to sleep in until 9 this morning and Daddy and I have been working at the computer though so I'm not sure why they are both home. Furthermore, when I needed to tinkle I had to put on a bunch of clothes - Mommy told me to layer - to keep myself warm and wait for Daddy to move the white stuff out of the way.

Here is Daddy clearing the way so I can see the grass. I kept going outside to check on him but I would immediately come back in because there was white stuff swirling and in my face and my paws were so cold.







But finally Mommy came out too and they told me to do my tinkle. I had to go pretty bad so I did but I didn't really like it. I love the snow most of the time but not when it is this cold and windy!

2011 Update

Happy new year to all of my readers! I have been busy enjoying the holiday break. I put on some pounds over the holidays beacuse of all the good food but I don't mind. In fact, my new years resolution is to gain some more weight cause that means I am eating really yummy food. Yesterday we made cookies and I got to lick the bowl!

This is my new toy that I got for Christmas. It may be my new favorite because a) it squeaks b) it crinkles even when I'm not squeaking it and c) it's red, my favorite color. I prefer red toys because I think I am color blind and cannot find some of the others.

I forgot to post this picture from Christmas last time. Mommy took it when she came to get in bed one night at Gram's house and there was nowhere to go. I told her she could sleep on the floor or at the foot of the bed like I usually do. Daddy and I were snoozing really well.

Hello friends, foes, and family. I got the chance to see most of you over the holidays, but if not I apologize. I am in quite high demand these days and I'm only one dog. Here I am being sweet to Daddy.

But I can also be very ferocious (as some of you already know). I was just playing in this picture though.

Mommy and I on Christmas morning. I was ready for my gifts. I got lots of yummy stuff in my stocking, too (much to Dixie's chagrin).

I was sorta good. Daddy said I got a C at Ferguson family Christmas. I'll take it. I let Aunt Leesa hold me for a little bit and I let Aunt Erin give me some kisses. I was not very nice to my great Uncle David and great Aunt Janet though. Mommy says to apologize. I do not see you very often so I'm sorry I did not behave. She tells me I'm scared. I deny I am scared of anything or anyone. I am a fierce beast.

Here I am with Gramp. He got me a new toy, a mini Rumble doll. The Thunder is my favorite team. I have been trying to become the Lightning mascot for some time now. I would wear a bolt and flash across the court at half time. Sam Presti, if you're reading this, please contact my mommy. Go Thunder!

Ready for Christmas

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am officially ready for Christmas. Don't get me wrong, Thanksgiving is great and all (I got some leftover turkey this morning) but I really like Christmas because I get to go see my grandparents in Illinois then come and see my grandparents here too. So I get lots of love and attention over the holidays. I dressed up in my santa outfit and finished decorating the house this morning. Here is one of my new additions, my mat in the kitchen so I have somewhere warm and cushy to sit while Mom and Dad are cooking.

Even tiny santas have to take a bathroom break every now and then. Mommy made me post this; I am a little embarrassed.

Ahead of the game

I decided to get a head start on Christmas this year so last night I put up our Christmas tree. Okay, so Mommy and Daddy helped a little bit but it was my idea. Today I have been sitting on the couch admiring my work. My favorite part is the min pin angel atop the tree. Daddy says that it is ridiculous.
